Local vet Cozmin Cucoș brings compassionate in-home end-of-life care to Milton Keynes

Dignipets is proud to announce the launch of Dignipets Milton Keynes, led by a veterinary surgeon with extensive end-of-life care experience, Cozmin Cucoș. Having supported hundreds of pets and their families through hospice care, quality-of-life assessments and end-of-life decision-making, Cozmin brings extensive expertise and a compassionate, relationship-led approach to one of the most important areas of veterinary medicine. Through Dignipets Milton Keynes, he will provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets and their families across Milton Keynes, Bedford and the surrounding areas.

With extensive experience dedicated to end-of-life care, Cozmin understands the challenges families face when caring for an ageing or terminally ill pet. His focus is on helping owners navigate difficult decisions with confidence, clarity and compassion, ensuring pets remain comfortable and supported while giving families the time, guidance and reassurance they need.

Commenting on the launch, Cozmin said:

Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to the privilege of supporting pets and their families through some of the most important moments of their lives. Having dedicated much of my veterinary work to hospice and end-of-life care, I’ve seen first-hand the difference that time, compassion and personalised support can make for both pets and the people who love them.

Every family’s situation is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to end-of-life care. Joining Dignipets allows me to focus on providing the guidance, empathy and continuity of care that families deserve, helping them make informed decisions and ensuring their pets remain comfortable, cared for and dignified throughout their final chapter.

As an experienced end-of-life vet, Cozmin will provide compassionate support for families facing some of the most difficult decisions in pet ownership. Through Dignipets, he will offer quality-of-life assessments, hospice care and peaceful home euthanasia visits, working closely with local veterinary practices to ensure pets receive seamless, personalised care. Alongside veterinary support, families will have access to hospice guidance, grief resources, bereavement support and the free Dignipets Quality of Life Tracker app.

Commenting on the new partnership, Merel Taal, Founder and Director of Dignipets, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Cozmin to the Dignipets family. His compassionate approach, commitment to exceptional patient care and dedication to supporting pet owners make him an excellent fit for our values.

At Dignipets, we believe end-of-life care is about much more than a single appointment. It’s about supporting pets and their families with empathy, communication and compassion throughout an important stage of life. We’re excited to see Cozmin bring that approach to families across Milton Keynes.

Dignipets continues to expand its network of independent veterinary partners across the UK, helping more families access compassionate hospice and end-of-life care at home while working collaboratively with local veterinary practices. The organisation’s focus on quality of life, communication and personalised support aims to ensure that every pet receives care tailored to their individual circumstances and the needs of the people who love them.
